Ballet is the foundation of all dance. Students are highly encouraged to study it first along with other dance forms
Required attire: Pink ballet shoes, tights and leotard, skirt optional, hair in a bun, no jewelry.
National Champions
Twirl is a class emphasizing skill attainment and proper technique including finger twirls, tosses, rolls, two-baton work, etc. We have multiple competitive twirl teams (must audition).
Required attire: Jazz shoes (and tennis shoes for older students), baton(s), fitted dancewear that won't get caught by baton, hair away from face, no jewelry.
Junior Drill Team
Drill Team is a competitive group (must audition). We have drill teams for grades K-3, 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12. Teams learn three dances for competition; typically pom, novelty, and lyrical.
Required attire: Jazz shoes, dancewear that may include leotard or fitted top, tights or dance shorts, hair away from face, no jewelry, poms.
Color Guard is a form of dance that uses flags, rifles, and swords and is often included as part of a marching band.
Required attire: Jazz shoes (and tennis shoes for outdoor practice), flag, comfortable clothing for freedom of movement, hair away from face.
Jazz Shoes
Jazz is energetic and fun, consisting of unique moves, fancy footwork, big leaps and quick turns.
Required attire: Tan or black jazz shoes, leotard with tights, dance shorts or jazz pants, hair away from face.
Tap Shoes
Tap is a high-energy class that uses intricate footwork to create various rhythms.
Required attire: Same as Jazz, black tap shoes, hair away from face.
Cheer Bow
Cheer is a preparation class including proper cheer technique, cheers, stunts, dance routines, and jumps with emphasis on safety.
Required attire: Tennis shoes, shorts and t-shirt, hair away from face.
Hip Hop Class
Hip Hop is a structured form of street dancing found in music videos. It is designed to teach coordination, strength, quickness, agility, and endurance.
Required attire: Tennis shoes or jazz shoes, comfortable clothing for freedom of movement, no jeans, hair away from face.
Tumbling
Tumbling is a class tailored to each student's needs, focusing on basic skills such as cartwheels, round-offs, walkovers, aerials, etc.
Required attire: Jazz shoes or tennis shoes, leotard, shorts optional, hair away from face.
