Steppin' Out and Turning Pointe was opened in 1996 by Kim Mullikin. Mrs. Kim served as owner, director, and instructor for 18 years, touching the lives of countless children through her love of dance. In 2014, Mrs. Kim retired, passing the baton to her long-time assistant, Rachel Cheatham.
Mrs. Rachel began taking dance and twirl classes as a small child, as many young girls do. During her dance career, she competed at NBTA twirl competitions for 10 years and served as feature twirler for her high school before becoming feature twirler at Tyler Junior College. Mrs. Rachel is overjoyed to begin moving the studio into new and exciting territory as the Owner and Director.
